Save Money with a Heating Controls Upgrade
14th April 2014
I’m always surprised at just how many houses I have been in and worked in that either have incomplete heating controls or none at all.
My own observations have been backed up by a new study by TACMA and the Energy Saving Trust which has found that 70% of UK homes don’t reach the minimum level of controls, and eight million homes don’t even have a room thermostat.
The thing is, that’s costing millions of people lots of hard earned money in wasted energy.
The simple additions of a room thermostat and thermostatic radiator valves to a typical heating system could very likely save £150 a year on bills. For such an easy upgrade!

In fact getting your heating controls upgraded is probably the most cost effective way of achieving real savings.
Heating and hot water combined consume 85% of all energy in the home. Use less energy and save money.
With such a short payback time on installation costs it’s time to get your heating system surveyed to see if you could benefit from an upgrade.
